Awarded Best Cutter at the prestigious Japanese Stationery Awards 2026, this charming tool delivers award-winning functionality wrapped in a delightful animal design. Add a dash of playful design to your daily routine with the PLUS Pico Friends Box Cutter - Hina Penguin. Part of the charming, animal-themed unboxing collection from PLUS Japan, this tool is designed to look like an adorable baby penguin belly-sliding over your packages to open them with absolute ease.

Ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your palm, the body is wrapped in a smooth, soft-touch silicone cover that feels lovely to hold and offers excellent grip control. Hidden safely on its underside is a high-performance ceramic blade. This rust-resistant blade glides smoothly through packing tape and thick cardboard, but its height is deliberately calibrated to be short, ensuring your precious cargo inside stays safe from accidental cuts.

Featuring a secure slide-lock base to prevent accidental detachment, it is also completely refillable using modular replacement blade cartridges (sold separately). Keep this cheerful little grey-and-white penguin sitting on your desk or entryway table, ready to tackle your next delivery haul with a smile!

ABOUT THE BRAND】

PLUS Stationery

PLUS CORPORATION was founded in 1948 by merging two office supplies wholesalers in Tokyo – Imaizumi Shoten and Suzuki Shoten. The name was derived from the fact that two companies were merged together (hence a “plus”), as well as the implication of the founder’s aspiration to create a company that would be a plus to society.

Since then, PLUS has been working enthusiastically as a manufacturer in product development, and has steadily transformed from a wholesaler into a full-scale manufacturer of stationery with its own factories in Japan.
