Soramame Ink Pads are “fingertip size” ink pads designed by Japanese stamp artist Tomoko Tsukui for ink pad brand Tsukineko. These ink pads contain VersaCraft Ink, which is a water-based pigment ink that works well on a variety of materials including paper, fabric, unfinished wood, unglazed pottery, and leather.

To use, insert your index finger into the hollow of the ink pad, remove the protective cap, and gently dab the ink onto a stamp or stencil. Their small size makes it easier to apply ink precisely to small stamps and to combine multiple colours on larger stamps.

Each set includes 4 ink pads inspired by traditional Japanese colour combinations. They come in a wavy plastic tray that they sit in like beans in a pod. (Soramame is Japanese for "broad beans.") The clear plastic of the holder and ink pads makes it easy to see which pad is which, and a set of bean-shaped label stickers is also included. You can even tape multiple sets together using the included piece of double-sided tape to create a larger set.

This Goldfish Bowl set includes four colours: Shuiro (red), Hiwairo (light green), Ajisai (light blue), and Kigaracha (dark green).

【ABOUT THE BRAND】

Tsukineko Logo

Founded in 1952, Tsukineko is an established leader of innovative inks and ink pads from Japan, which now exports to over 30 countries worldwide. The company continues to develop new products to meet the ever-changing needs of crafters all over the world.

In 1982, they introduced the very first water-based pigment ink pad which was met with widespread enthusiasm by the crafting industry. This pigment ink pad led to the development of the (at-the-time) revolutionary multi-colour stamp which then led to the creation of a myriad of other inks.

85 Rue Tranquille curates some of its most popular product lines. VersaCraft, the fingertip size ink pads, small and precise, great for small size stamps or to apply different colours to one larger stamp. Brilliance and StazOn enables users to stamp on previously restricted surfaces, such as metal, plastics and vellum. And the list goes on!
