Thin, stiff and made to sit under the page you are writing on, the Hobonichi Weeks Pencil Board Akiko Miyakoshi: Lazy Morning stops a ballpoint from slipping and keeps indentations off the sheet below. It is cut for Weeks (and fits Weeks Mega).

Lazy Morning began with a photograph of Charlotte Gainsbourg; Miyakoshi wanted the fresh light of morning. The back is light blue — clean air and the smell of sheets.

Along the long edge, millimetre marks work as a ruler. A Today tab at the corner can sit between pages as a bookmark.
