Botanical, playful and quietly formal, the Hobonichi Techo A6 Original Cover V&A Series: Strawberry Thief is a collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. The front carries William Morris’s 1883 textile Strawberry Thief — thrushes stealing strawberries from his garden. The back is John Henry Dearle’s 1892 Blackthorn wallpaper: hawthorn and blackthorn blossom entwined for spring.
Inside, the lining is a calm blue-grey. A woven-label pen holder bears Morris’s well-known line about keeping only what is useful or beautiful. The holder is made to grip a pen by the barrel, and still reads as a finished accent when empty.
This is a cover only, sized for the A6 Original. It also fits the English A6 Planner, Original Avec and the A6 Day-Free monthly notebook.
