Gentle, embroidered and full of island warmth, the Hobonichi Techo A6 Original Cover Moomin: My Yard (Pale Mint) draws on scenes from Tove Jansson’s Moominpappa at Sea. On pale-mint cotton, Moominmamma sleeps in the garden she painted on the lighthouse wall, stitched in navy thread. Above her, a line in deep pink reads: “Well, it’ll be another nice long day tomorrow.” The back shows the family gathered on the island they have made their home.
The interior is lined in soft pink. Pockets are cut from the same cotton; the right-hand pocket prints Moominpappa and Moomintroll out in a boat, hauling a net. Flip that pocket to find an English line spoken by Moominpappa in the novel. Bookmark tips carry a white-shell charm and a flower charm. The brand card shows the lighthouse.
