Step into a storybook world with the Hobonichi Techo A6 HON in Yumi Kitagishi: White Cat and Rabbit’s Tea Room (Japanese Edition). Marking the fourth collaboration between Hobonichi and acclaimed Japanese illustrator and picture book author Yumi Kitagishi, this release is the very first time her whimsical artwork adorns a HON hardcover planner.
The cover showcases two charming works from Kitagishi’s popular Dollhouse series. The front cover depicts a cheerful white cat waving a friendly greeting at the front door while rabbits prepare tea and strawberry shortcake. On the back cover, animal friends reside in a house built of books, deeply immersed in reading. The spine is finished with the year 2027 and a tiny white cat accent. Printed on glossy, PP-coated paper, the cover retains every delicate detail of Kitagishi's original paintings.
Designed to be used casual and cover-free, the HON hardcover format features Hobonichi's signature 180-degree lay-flat thread-stitch binding. Inside, 464 pages of thin, ultra-durable Tomoe River paper offer a smooth writing surface that handles fountain pens, gel inks, and stamps with minimal bleed-through. Printed in Japanese, this edition features daily 3.7 mm graph paper spreads with daily quotes, lunar calendars, solar terms, and rich bonus reference pages (including Useful Sign Language Phrases and a Kanda/Jinbo-cho map).
