Bold, vintage-feeling and built to protect, the Hobonichi Techo A5 Cousin Cover Natal Design: Hello New Day! (Retro Stripe) is a collaboration with the Tokyo apparel brand known for clothing and camping kit. This Cousin cover is a tri-fold, cut from Natal Design’s signature Retro Stripe cloth — a vivid, old-school stripe on durable, stain-resistant 1000D nylon, finished with deeply coloured piping, a front name tag and matte snap buttons.
Because each cover is cut from one large piece of fabric, the stripe placement differs from book to book. Inside, a burgundy PU lining carries the Natal Design logo in foil and a line of the brand’s philosophy. Behind it, the Lucky Swallow print — swallows thought to bring good fortune — runs on under the pocket.
The cover’s message is the same as the brand’s: good-bye yesterday, hello new day. This is a cover only, sized for the A5 Cousin. It also fits Cousin Avec and the A5 Day-Free monthly notebook.
