On pink-grey cotton, Moominmamma sleeps in the garden she painted on the lighthouse wall, stitched in bright purple thread. Above her, a line in deep pink reads: “Well, it’ll be another nice long day tomorrow.” The back shows the family gathered on the island they have made their home.
The interior is lined in soft pink. Pockets are cut from the same cotton; the right-hand pocket prints Moominpappa and Moomintroll out in a boat, hauling a net.
