Thin, stiff and made to sit under the page you are writing on, the Hobonichi A6 Pencil Board V&A Series: V&A’s Foundation Stone Programme stops a ballpoint from slipping and keeps indentations off the sheet below. It is cut for the A6 Original (and English A6 Planner).

The front reproduces the official programme from the 1899 foundation-stone ceremony — the moment the museum was renamed the Victoria and Albert Museum. The back is mint green.

Along the long edge, millimetre marks work as a ruler. A Today tab at the corner can sit between pages as a bookmark.

  • A6 (15.5 x 10.3 cm)
  • Synthetic paper material
  • Made in Japan
