Immerse your writing in the colour of pine under water with Sailor Shikiori Fountain Pen Ink 20 ml – Seaweed Indigo. Miruai (海松藍) is seaweed indigo — the green-blue of umimatsu seen through a shallow sea — one of Sailor’s Shikiori dyes, the line that weaves Japan’s seasons onto the page.
Wet, it can read almost black in low light; in sun it opens into a deep teal-green, with a little pooling and, in a heavy line, a hint of warm sheen. It is a water-based dye, made to flow smoothly and stay gentle on fountain-pen feeds — not water-resistant.
Housed in Sailor’s square 20 ml glass bottle (3.4 × 3.4 × 5.8 cm, about 94 g), it is a small seasonal bottle for journals, letters and anyone who wants the sea-pine green rather than a house black.
